As a Hypnotherapist Alan has been in practice since 1994 in Cardiff, Penarth, Barry, Newport and surrounding areas. He is a member of the BSCH (British Society of Clinical Hypnosis).
With a B.A.(Hons) in Psychology & Administration, Qualification in Social Work(CQSW), Diploma & Advanced Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy (Training both with the International Association of Hypnoanalysts and the London College of Clinical Hypnosis), Alan is a professional therapist capable and experienced in helping with psychological, mental, emotional as well as stress-related conditions such as depression, anxiety, IBS, Anger management, low self-esteem, sexual abuse, child abuse, phobias and panic attacks.

My interest in Hypnotherapy was activated whilst studying for my Psychology degree which i completed and thereafter decided to train as a Hypnotherapist as well. After three years' part-time study at the London College of Clinical Hypnosis i opened my hypnotherapy practice in Hornsea/Bridlington serving local towns in and around East Yorkshire.
I have been in hypnotherapy practice in East Yorkshire for a few years now and my main objective is to help clients overcome their emotional and mental problems associated with their unconscious mind e.g. depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, confidence issues, IBS, Anger management, stress, panic as well as insomnias and phobias/fears.
Hypnosis works more efficiently with these mentioned issues for the simple reason that hypnosis works directly with the unconscious mind and most people will agree that their logic know that there is no valid reason for their fears, IBS or stress but nevertheless their mind is still creating blockages and nervousness in their professional and personal lives.
